For this look I used Moxie (special edition) lipstick from MAC. It is already a matte color but you can use any lip color and this will still work. I placed a Bare Minerals loose blush over them with a shadow brush to add a bit more color and to give it a more matte finish. You can also try a translucent finishing like MAC prep + prime finishing power, Makeup Forever finishing powder or Bare Minerals translucent mineral veil. It also will help the lip from bleeding color and lasting longer.
Quick tip: exfoliate your lips and use a lip primer like MAC prep + prime lip, to keep lips from looking or feeling dry when layering product on the lips.
